Oklahoma Grocers Association members receive emails, briefs, and bulletins regarding legislative issues affecting their businesses. Our staff has worked to build strong relationships with state government agencies to work with them on our members’ behalf. Some examples of agencies we work with include the Oklahoma Alcoholic Beverage Laws Enforcement (ABLE) Commission, Oklahoma Department of Health- SNAP (food stamps), ODH- WIC, Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, and Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.
We are members of the National Grocers Association, FMI- The Food Industry Association, National Association of Convenience Stores, and Made In Oklahoma Coalition.

ABLE Training
Our office is pleased to announce our online training course for Alcohol and Tobacco Sales! This ABLE-approved education tool is a free benefit provided to all dues-paying members. A username and password are needed to access the course; if you need assistance, please contact Cassidy Smith-Toliver at csmith@okgrocers.com.

Once the training is completed by an employee, the following steps will need to be done:
- Type in the name used on the ABLE license application
- Print the certificate
- An approved employee will need to sign the certificate for verification purposes
- A copy of the signed certificate will need to be kept at the location(s) the employee works at along with their license
Become A Member
To become a member of the Oklahoma Grocers Association complete the Retail Member Application for retailers, or the Associate Member Application for suppliers, wholesalers, and anybody else with ties to the food industry.
