Oklahoma Grocers Education Foundation key logo that says Opening Minds Opening futures!In 1990, the Oklahoma Grocers Association established the Oklahoma Grocers Education Foundation (OGEF) to provide scholarships and promote education throughout the food industry in Oklahoma. OGEF is a non-profit, tax-deductible, IRS section 501 (c)(3).

Our scholarship program runs from December 1 through February 28, the scholarship application is available for download. An impartial Selection Committee, made up of educators, selects the winners who are then notified by April 15th. Scholarships are for one year; however, winners may reapply in subsequent years as long as they continue to meet eligibility requirements.

Companies can provide an endowed scholarship, through the OGEF program, by making a donation of $10,000 for a $500 annual scholarship, or $15,000 for a $750 annual scholarship.

As of 2022, OGEF has presented a total of 2,160 scholarships totaling $1,495,000.


32nd Annual OGEF Golf Tournament

Our 32nd Annual OGEF Golf Tournament will be held on October 3, 2022, at Gaillardia Country Club. Registration for golfers is currently open, and we are seeking sponsorships!

Scholarship Applications

The scholarship application process for the 2022-2023 school year has now closed. The 2023-2024 application will go live in December. We look forward to receiving more applications from deserving students!
